“Circle Song”
I should compose more often on the piano. In the meantime, I need to work more on getting my left hand to do more dancin’ and thumpin’. It’s called technique, people!
And now, some theory: I came across the circle pattern in wikipedia. It utilizes all the chords in the key of C in intervals of fourths. I played it the other morning and realized I had heard it a thousand times. So I thought I’d use it here.
I kept thinking of John Lennon’s “#9 Dream” and, of course, “The Porpoise Song” while I was writing the chord progressions.
